"Bonsoir o/

GANDLING EU | BIGGEST MOSHPIT/CIRCLEPIT in WoW HISTORY
Aaaaand we’ve done it guys! We’re looking forward to the AQ Opening on Tuesday 25th in the morning and AQ Raiding that evening!
HUGE thanks to all the Alliance and Horde guilds that made this possible, Gandling is OURS and OURS alone!

We're currently running 3-5 hunters each raid dependant on who shows up. We all have T2 available but I have r12, would having me also in full T2 be an overall dps increase given our excessive amount of hunters at times? Also would having another hunter go for "https://sixtyupgrades.com/set/xdt9xVZHAwsNGXvhPxvxLZ" be an overall dps increase for all hunters or would we just be fucking ourselves over by not using all T2 at this point?
What I'm really asking is: Does the +9 per hunter in the bis list take into account that the other hunters have the set, or will each extra hunter in full t2 be more than +9 dps per hunter?
So would 2 hunters with full t2 be a bonus of +18 dps per hunter?
ZebaAujourd’hui à 16:18
Each extra hunter will add 9 to every other hunter. I.e. if you have 5 hunters, the 5th one having t2 8/8 on will add (9*5) - 45 dps
CheetohAujourd’hui à 16:19
So each individual hunter would provide +45 dps (for all hunters in total)?
ZebaAujourd’hui à 16:20
With your numbers, yes
LozzleskotchAujourd’hui à 16:20
Can you really afford the debuff slots (yes slots, it can take multiple slots) for expose in P5?
CheetohAujourd’hui à 16:20
Haven't actually talked about it yet so I'ma let it go untill we're told not to
ZebaAujourd’hui à 16:21
I mean if it's adding 225 dps probably
Does anybody know the debuff priority for it? I'm sure this has been asked a bazillion times
WatchYourSixx [Max Weave Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:22
Expose weakness is one of the top debuffs when it procs, so I'd say yes it's definitely worth
CheetohAujourd’hui à 16:22
+450 rap is nothing to scuff at
Bouk [Single Trinket Swap Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:23
The process of putting it on is also smooooth. Warriors sunder, rogue builds stacks and applies it over sunder.
Doesn't take an additional debuff slot.
WatchYourSixx [Max Weave Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:23
Imp expose is different
Bouk [Single Trinket Swap Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:24
Oh I'm drunk.
I read imp exp.
But uh yeah... if your rogue isn't putting on Expose Weakness...
LozzleskotchAujourd’hui à 16:25
+450 RAP vs nothing is great. Pushing off another critical debuff is not great
Bouk [Single Trinket Swap Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:26
Its hard for EW to push off a "critical debuff".
IMO, let it push off ignite. Not like we're rolling ignite for minute on end now.
LozzleskotchAujourd’hui à 16:26
Ignite has to be more DPS than expose, right?
WatchYourSixx [Max Weave Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:26
The only "critical" debuff that it can push off is ignite, and even that isn't critical. You won't have a rolling ignite unless you have 5-6 mages wbuffed
And ignite needs to be dropped either way or they will rip threat
Bouk [Single Trinket Swap Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:27
I mean, it could lower raid DPS don't get me wrong.
LozzleskotchAujourd’hui à 16:27
What does it push off if you get 2+ concurrent procs?
Bouk [Single Trinket Swap Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:27
But I'm in a guild that organizes debuffs optimistically and lets EW botch things up because we're playing for fun.
It won't push off sunder/imp exp/TF/etc.
Or any of the good curses.
WatchYourSixx [Max Weave Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:28
I've used t2 for a while now and it's only pushed off something once because we had too many trash debuffs
Bouk [Single Trinket Swap Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:28
Its going to push off like, shadow weaving or some meh stuff.
Hell, even if it pushes a good curse, our locks have WA's and can reapply it.
Like, it may be a raid dps loss but I do want to play my class and wear my tier gear.
LozzleskotchAujourd’hui à 16:29
R10 set is ~20 DPS more than 8/8 T2 anyway according to skinnay's list (a bit less if you're keeping 5/8 T2 which is the right move IMO). So yes with 3+ T2 hunters you get a very slight DPS increase but if you push anything else off at all you're likely costing overall DPS
Gymsocks [Dad Guild Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:29
yea imagine bithcing about recasting a curse becuase you jsut want to press shadowbolt all night
Bouk [Single Trinket Swap Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:29
Lozzle, we'e openly admitting its a raid dps loss.
Our guilds just arn't that sweaty.
Gymsocks [Dad Guild Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:30
but its a big increase in fun
which is hard to come by as a raiding hunter sometimes lol
LozzleskotchAujourd’hui à 16:30
Whatever floats your boat I guess
Bouk [Single Trinket Swap Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:30
Lots of B tier guilds focus way too much on debuff lists because the speedrun guilds are using them. Realistically, as long as you're not all spamming SS, your debuffs are going to be fine enough.
WatchYourSixx [Max Weave Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:31
The "9" DPS per hunter is an average. If you have 2+ hunters you'll do the same or more on average. You'll have higher highs than r10 ever will. And if you fuck your raid over because of a debuff that barely ever procs go fill out a lottery ticket
OispatbcAujourd’hui à 16:31
Speedruns are not even debuff capped tho
Bouk [Single Trinket Swap Shill]Aujourd’hui à 16:32
Yeah, fair. I guess the debuff list thing is just to stop SS and corruption spam.
OispatbcAujourd’hui à 16:33
Maybe meta gets abit different with AQ but its probably going to be brown zugzug

Before 2005-03-07 all dungeons were not limited at all
After that dungeons were capped to 10 (did Strat with 10 players)
UBRS was 15 (did it)
And other raids 40 of course
"Dungeon Player Caps
All dungeons now have a cap on group size to limit the number of players that may enter the dungeon. It was necessary to add this cap as raiding these dungeons trivialized much of the content. Because of this change we can now look to adding better loot to them during future content patches.
With that in mind, the dungeons below now have the following caps:
Onyxia/Molten Core - 40 members
Blackrock Spire - 15 members
Dire Maul - 5 members
All other dungeons in the game will be capped at 10 members.Several dungeons will be re-examined for balancing in light of thischange. In addition, will have their loot improved significantly for the next content patch. "
How warcraftlogs track roles ?
- Being 35% time into def stance
or - Take 50% damage from boss
53 agi gives 1% crit
so the initial 1% crit = 32 is a "32 AP is the same as adding 1% crit"
and since it takes 53 to be 1% crit, one 53rd of that (0.0188%) is multiplied by the 32
which gives 0.6 per 1 point of agi
so:
- 1 agi is equivalent to 2.6 AP
- 1% crit is equivalent to 32 AP
